Currey And Company is an exclusive design and production company that creates garden accessories, chandeliers, lamps, wall sconces and accent furniture. Currey And Company, known today for its dynamic collection of lighting-ware, started its existence in 1988 as a supplier of historic garden furnishings. At that moment, Robert B. Currey created Garden Source Furnishings, the main focal point of the venture was the production and marketing of traditional garden furniture similar to that of the Winterthur Museum and the Smithsonian.
These furniture collections were later joined by a very beautiful selection of garden whimsies, birdhouses and even rustic twig furniture. Many lighting products were among these initial stocks and by the early 1990’s the lighting class had become a key element in the business. Because of this, the name of the business was changed to Currey And Company to adopt a new focus on products for interior.
